Action Sessions are intended to bring together members from the community together with outside experts, thought leaders and facilitators to drive the conversation to consent around at least two action goals and/or commitments. This is the time to make some key decisions, big or small, that will serve to meet the needs of our rural community and tap the resources and talents present at the rural summit.

Enjoy uniquely curated beer, wine, and spirits and mingle with the Summit participants.

Enjoy uniquely curated beer, wine, and spirits and mingle with the Summit participants. 

Chef Clark Staub of the critically acclaimed Full of Life Flatbread in Los Alamos, CA will be preparing a locavore menu featuring ingredients from the Cuyama Valley and greater region. From heritage Tehachapi grain to fresh Cuyama Valley mixed organic greens, the meal will be served family-style and will be paired with local, sustainable beer and wine. 

7:00 PM  Rural Activation

Following dinner we will focus on rural action and activation. Each break out group will be asked to share top three ideas generated from break out sessions, with one actionable idea that can be accomplished with the resources and talents existing at the Summit.
