How many beds would you require (for overnight guests)?
At Blue Sky we have a total of 22 beds and plenty of space for bring-your-own tent/RV/vehicle camping:
We have twin and full-size beds, as follows:
Sheepherder Wagon: 1 Full
Snail Hut: 1 Full
Gable Hut: 1 Full
Pope Hut: 1 Full
Lunette Hut: 1 Full
Quonset Hut: 2 Twins
Wagon and Huts accommodate 7-12 adults in a total of 7 beds. We have 4 cots we can add as needed for kids (1 can fit per hut, with it being a bit tight but possible).
We also have 7 dorm-style rooms in our main Flagship Building with more rooms/beds available for special events such as this. Dorm-style rooms accommodate 15-18 people in a total of 15 beds distributed across 7 rooms. Dispersed camping options (bring your own tent) can accommodate as many people as you want. Need more beds? We have meeting rooms of all sizes and plenty of outdoor spaces; we have two indoor kitchens (Khalili Cantina and Flagship Kitchen) and a commercial kitchen trailer (The Cuyama Kitchen).
We also offer a Sunset Sips mead tasting (see blueskycenter.org/sunsetsips) for those age 21+ to taste local mead (honey wine) made from local ingredients that supports our nonprofit organization! Let us know if you want to consider that add-on.
